This short film was created as my entry for a competition, telling the story of life under relentless social pressure—where everyone lives the same monotonous routine, crushed by bills and financial burdens. As the weight grows heavier, the protagonist, unable to bear it any longer, turns to drugs and ultimately meets a tragic end. It’s a narrative about struggle, helplessness, and the harsh realities of modern society.

  From a production standpoint, I meticulously controlled the lighting with two primary sources, ensuring that every scene’s atmosphere aligned perfectly with the emotional arc.
 The entire film was shot in a single day, requiring intense focus and tight on-set coordination. I combined tripod stability with handheld dynamism, balancing composed framing with the raw, lived-in energy of each moment.

  The most challenging sequence was a one-take scene with the protagonist—a continuous shot that demanded multiple rehearsals and takes to capture seamless emotional flow and immersive tension. I intentionally designed the cinematography around wide shots, using space to convey a sense of pressure, while ensuring every subtle detail and emotional cue was embedded in the frame.

  This is more than just a competition piece—it is my visual response to a social reality, laying bare the overlooked corners of life through the unflinching eye of my lens.
